Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen was born in New Jersey-USA, in the Long Branch seaside resort on September 23, 1949 and achieved worldwide fame as a contemporary rock musician under the name Bruce Springsteen.Bruce Springsteen spent his childhood and early adolescence in Freehold with his father Douglas Frederick Springsteen, of Irish descent, a veteran of the Second World War, his mother, Adele Ann Zerilli, from a family emigrated from Vico Equense, a secretary in a law firm, and two sisters Virginia (1950) and the future actress and photographer Pamela (1962).He grows shy and insecure because of the misunderstanding of his father, a sick man and often unemployed, unable to offer certainty to the family forced to alternate his residence in rented houses or with his paternal grandparents and maternal Conflict and deep also the relationship with the Catholic religion. Bruce attended primary school at the institute of his parish, the St. Rose of Lima, run by nuns, isolating himself from his companions and showing interest only in writing. He graduated from Freehold High School in 1967 and when his parents decided to emigrate to California in search of work, which had become an adult, he refused to follow them. On September 6, 1956, little Springsteen felt his fate on September 6, 1956. Literally kidnapped by the performance of Elvis Presley in one of the major television shows of the time, the Ed Sullivan Show, he decided to become a guitarist. With the support of his mother Adele, who gave him his first toy guitar in an unforgettable Christmas, then paid for his music lessons and bought, when he was already a teenager, a Kent electric guitar and an amplifier in instalments, the dream of the great American storyteller, not many years later, would come true. He danced with his mother, a beautiful woman over 90, at Madison Square Garden in New York during a concert. In London in 2013 he took to the stage shaking Adele’s hand.
