Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosadom, known simply as Ozuna, is a Puerto Rican singer, composer and actor, born in San Juan on March 13, 1992. At just three years of age, he was orphaned of pare, a dead reggaeton dancer who was shot, and grew up above all in the company of his father’s grandmother.He began composing music at twelve and in 2010 moved to New York, where he lived for three years.Ozuna is married to Tania Meléndez and has two children, Sofía Ozuna and Juan Andrés Ozuna, born respectively in 2014 and 2016.He starts to publish his songs on YouTube and in 2014 he signs a contract with the record company Golden Family Records. In Latin America he was immediately very successful and performed in numerous concerts. In 2016 he reached popularity when he collaborated with DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz on the single “La ocasión”.In 2017 he released his first album, Odisea, which contains very famous tracks, such as Tu foto, and collaborations with other Latin American artists, including Nicky Jam and J Balvin. In 2018, the second album, Aura, was released, containing the song Unica. In the same year he collaborated with DJ Snake and Selena Gomez on the single Taki Taki, participated in the film Qué León and won the Billboard Music Award for best Latin artist.In a short time he became one of the most beloved trap and reggaeton singers and some of his songs have been a real catchphrase. Among the most watched videos of the artist, we find El Farsante Remix, with Romeo Santos, La Modelo with Cardi B and Síguelo Bailando. Many of his songs speak of love and feelings and, because of his dark complexion and his light eyes, he is also called the Negrito ojos claros.
